Surprise! All Time Low released a new song yesterday. The new song, “Take Cover” is a live version that will be featured on All Time Low’s new Straight To DVD II. Straight To DVD II will be released on September 9th that displays All Time Low through the years and their experiences as a band as well as live concerts.
“Take Cover” sure does not disappoint. All Time Low’s iconic pop rock rhythm is what every fan loves to hear. It’s a formula that has brought the band the fame and fanbase they have. The song starts with Alex Gaskarth, lead vocalist, singing with his voice sounded muffled. The song escalades with the help of Jack Barakat, Rian Dawson and Zack Merrick’s instrumentals. Visually the video has an interesting layout. All Time Low has two small visual “screens” with a black background showing their tour life and fans. The footage is in black and white giving the video a more vintage feel.
All Time Low is still touring across the United States with Blink- 182. Ticket and tour information can be found here. You can pre-order their Straight To DVD II on All Time Low’s website. You can purchase their deluxe version and receive two CDs, 1 new song and a 72 page photo book that is limited to 5,000 made worldwide. The DVD is due via Hopeless Records.
In other news, Twenty One Pilots won a VMA award on Sunday, This Wild Life is live streaming a new song every night on their Facebook page and A Day To Remember released their new album Bad Vibrations.
Rock on, stay humble and be positive!
