10 Year Anniversary Tours for We The King and Mayday Parade

Mayday Parade announced on Monday Dec. 5 that they will be touring on a 10 year anniversary tour for their album A Lesson In Romantics. This was their first full-length album and it was released July 10, 2007. Knuckle Puck and Milestones will be supporting Mayday Parade throughout the tour. The tour travels across the United States and Canada. The tour begins March 23 in New Orleans, LA and finishes in Orlando, FL May 26. Tour dates and ticket information for “A Lesson In Romantics 10th Anniversary Tour” can be found here.

We The Kings self titled album We The Kings will be performed in its entirety on the “We The Kings 10” or “WTK 10.” We The Kings was released Oct. 2, 2007. Currently, We The Kings is touring solo. There is no word yet if they’re touring with any other band. The tour begins in Nashville, TN on Feb. 17, 2017 and commences in Hatfield, UK in May of 2017. Tickets and tour information can be found here.

I’ve been to anniversary album tours before for Mayday Parade’s Tales Told By Dead Friends and Cartel’s Chroma, and both bands played the album they toured for in its entirety. Going to anniversary tours gives nostalgic feelings to me when I go. If a band you like announces an anniversary tour, I highly recommend going to a date on the tour.

In other news, The Maine’s latest “Miserable Youth” was released, New Found Glory announced a 20 year anniversary tour to play classic albums that begins in March of 2017. Ticket information and tour dates can be found here, and the nominations for The Grammy’s were announced including Twenty One Pilots, Panic! At The Disco, and more. Information on nominations for The Grammy’s are here.

Rock on, stay humble, and be positive!
