Movements is a pop punk group from Orange County, CA. On Oct. 20, Movements released their first full length album Feel Something via. Fearless Records.
Here is the track list:
- Full Circle
- Third Degree
- Deadly Dull
- Fever Dream
- Suffer Through
- Deep Red
- Under The Gun
- The Grey
The album is exactly what I expected it to be. The album is raw and displays a lot of emotion. Patrick Miranda, vocalist of Movements, has an excellent way of showing vulnerability with the use if spoken word. Instrumentally, the songs have variation with the speed and build of their songs.
The lyrical concent of their album is primarily about relationships. The song “Deadly Dull” displays how Miranda’s family is affected by his grandparent’s Alzheimer’s. Its visual with the help of the lyrics and pulls at your heart strings. Movements played their singles “Deadly Dull” and “Colorblind” at the Vans Warped Tour 2017.
The songs that stand out to me off of the album after hearing the album in its entiretyDeadly Dull,” “Submerge,” and “The Grey.” Congratulations to the gentlemen in Movements for putting together a wonderful work of art.are: “
