A-Z Songs Of 2018

This year has been filled with A LOT of new music. Here’s a list of songs that released this year!

“All The Same (Once A Liar, Always A Liar)” is featured on the album Waves release Feb. 2, 2018 under Hopeless Records.

B- “Bad To The Bone” by WSTR

“Bad To The Bone” was the first single released in the album Identity Crisis released August 31, 2018 via. Hopeless Records.

C- “Crystal Ball” by State Champs

“Crystal Ball” is one of 13 songs on State Champs’ album Living Proof released June 15, 2018 via. Pure Noise Records.

D- “Disconnected” by Sleep On It

“Disconnected” is a single released by Sleep On It on October 9, 2018. Sleep On It is working on a new album that I anticipate will release in 2019. Sleep On It is under Equal Vision Records.

E- “England’s Dreaming” by Boston Manor.

“England’s Dreaming” is is one of the singles released by Boston Manor. The single is featured on the group’s album Welcome To The Neighbourhood released Sept. 7, 2018 via. Pure Noise Records.

F- “Friday Forever” by Trophy Eyes

“Friday Forever” is on Trophy Eyes’ album The American Dream released August 3, 2018 via. Hopeless Records.

G- “Gold Jacket, Green Jacket” by Senses Fail.

“Gold Jacket, Green Jacket” is featured on the If There Is Light, It Will Find You released February 16 via. Pure Noise Records.

H- “Hold You Here” by This Wild Life.

“Hold You Here” is on This Wild Life’s album Petaluma released June 22, 2018 via. Epitaph Records.

J- “Just Outside” by Moose Blood

“Just Outside” is on Moose Blood’s album I Don’t Think I Can Do This Anymore released under Hopeless Records on March 9, 2018.

K- “Know Me” by

“Know Me” released in October of 2018 by The Band Camino. There is no word yet as to if this single will be on an upcoming album, but fans are speculating that a new album is set to release in 2019 since the group is touring across the U.S.

L- “Let It Go” by The Story So Far

“Let It Go” is on The Story So Far’s latest album Proper Dose released Sept. 21, 2018 via. Pure Noise Records.

M- “Miracle” by CHVRCHES

“Miracle” is on CHVRCHES album Never Say Die released May 25, 2018.

N- “NY to LA” by The Hunna

“NY to LA” is on The Hunna’s album Dare released July 13, 2018 via. High Time Records.

O- “One of the Drunks” by Panic! At The Disco

“One Of The Drunks” is on Panic! At The Disco’s latest album Pray For The Wicked released June 22, 2018 via. Fueled by Ramen.

P- “Paper Rain” by Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness

“Paper Rain” is on Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness’ latest album Upside Down Flowers released November 16 via. Fantasy Records.

Q- “Quarter Past Midnight” by Bastille

“Quarter Past Midnight” is a single released by Bastille in May of 2018.

R- “Raining in Kyoto” by The Wonder Years

“Raining In Kyoto” is on The Wonder Years’ latest album Sister Cities released April 6 via. Hopeless Records.

S- “Shade” by Trash Boat

“Shade” is on Trash Boat’s album Crown Shyness released July 20, 2018 via. Hopeless Records.

T- “TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME” by The 1975.

“TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME” is on The 1975’s latest album A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships released November 30.

U- “Unconditional Love” by Real Friends

“Unconditional Love” is on Real Friends’ latest album Composure released July 13, 2018 via. Fearless Records.

V- “Valium” by The Dangerous Summer

“Valium” is on The Dangerous Summer released January 26, 2018 via. Hopeless Records.

W- “The Wounded World” by As It Is.

Though this track has the word “the” before the title, this was the first single released by As It Is when announcing a new album was set to release. “The Wounded World” was on the group’s third full length album The Great Depression released Aug. 10, 2018 via. Fearless Records.

X-  *NOTE- There is no song that I found that began with the letter “x” this year! Fingers crossed a song will release next year with that letter!

Y- “You + I” by Young The Giant

“You + I” is on Young The Giant’s latest album Mirror Master released October 12, 2018.

Z- “Zero” by Imagine Dragons.

“Zero” is feature on the album Origins released Nov. 9 via KIDinaKORNER/ Interscope Records. The song is featured in “Ralph Breaks The Internet.”

There are a lot of albums that came out this year that didn’t make it to this A-Z list, so make sure to give albums posted on this blog a listen.

  • Emarosa released information from the group’s upcoming album. Peach Club will release in February 2019 via. Hopeless Records. Bradley Walden, vocalist of Emarosa, tweeted his excitement for Peach Club.

  • Lynn Gunn, vocalist of PVRIS, tweeted that the group is working on new music for a bit. PVRIS is taking a break from touring after the release of All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell (2017).

  • Silent Planet released “The New Eternity.” The new single will be on the upcoming album When The End Began due out November 2, 2018 via. Solid State Records.
  • Ice Nine Kills released an official music video for “Stabbing In The Dark.”
  • What Did You Think When You Made Me This Way? by Nothing But Thieves and Anthem Of The Peaceful Army by Greta Van Fleet via. Republic Records released today.
  • The Band Camino released a new single “Know Me.”
  • The Stolen announced a North American Fall Tour (tickets and tour information can be found here.) In addition to the tour announcement, The Stolen shared single “Stuck” that can be heard here.
  • The 1975 announced a North American tour in support to the group’s release of A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships. The tour will be accompanied by Pale Waves and No Rome. For tickets and tour information click here. In addition to the tour announcement, The 1975 released an official video for “Love It If We Made It.”
  • Cory Wells released an official music video for “Walk Away” and announced he is signed to Pure Noise Records.
  • The Maine announced the creation of “The Process” docu-series that will showcase the inside scoop of how album 7 from The Maine is being created. The Maine created The Maine’s “Miserable Youth” YouTube Series during the creation of Lovely, Little, Lonely. “The Process” series will have new segments of documentaries, photo journals, podcasts, live streams, and more every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 3pm PST. The first segment of the series released today and you can see it below.
